These are great tours to see the animals of Belize in their natural environment. The tour begins with a drive through the countryside of central Belize to the Baboon Sanctuary. You will be driven past some local villages of historical importance during our colonial days. Arriving at the Baboon Sanctuary you will be greeted by a local guide who will give you a briefing about the sanctuary and its effort to conserve and preserve the habitat for the Howler Monkeys. The local guide will then take you to the habitat of the Howler Monkeys. You will get to see them close up and have a fun time interacting with them and taking nice photos of these amazing animals.
The tour then continues with a 45-minute drive to the Belize Zoo. The Belize zoo is considered one of the most unique small zoo in the region. The zoo is family-friendly with wheelchair accessibility. Get close up pictures of your favourite animals such as the Jaguar, Puma, the Toucan and the great Harpy eagle, to name a few. There are over 157 animals to see and a great place to visit for animal lovers.
